We continue to hear stories about patient abandonment whenever the prescribing or dispensing of prescription opioids are involved. Some doctors have told their patients that they can no longer prescribe opioids because the FDA, DEA, or CDC prohibited them from doing so. This of course is not true; states, not the federal government, regulate the practice of medicine. The following podcast explores the topic of patient abandonment with Mr. Ron Chapman, an attorney with the Chapman Law Group.
